Now the Tool Van is finished my thoughts are turning back to my current loco build.

The coal bunkers didn’t look quite right to me. I decided to add some ‘Greedy Bars’. That may sound like a chain of pubs but these are the metal bars around the top of the bunker designed to retain the coal.

To make them I used 1mm (40 thou) square bar and 0.25 x 1.0mm (10 x 40 thou) strip. They’re not perfectly true but I guess they could have been bent as the coal was added 🙂
