Today, I visited the North Ings Farm Museum near Lincoln.

When it was a working farm the clay soil made the site very wet and it was difficult to drive around, so in the early 1970’s they installed a railway. How enlightened!

The farming stopped in the 1980’s and since then it has operated as a museum.

It’s a great place to visit, let’s take a look around.

There’s lots to see, you can get up close to everything, the fairground music makes you feel good and the people are friendly and helpful.

The museum is open one day a month from April to October and price of entry is £3 per adult.
