I’ve wired the control panel up to the layout.

I opted for colour coded wiring and I will cover the cables in ‘wire wrap’. I could order it online, but I’ll wait until I visit my local hardware shop. Shops need customers and I’d like to keep my friendly, local shops.

The connections are rather chunky, but they will be hidden when the control panel is in place next to the layout.

Woody called the connections ‘umbilical cords’. My layout has two, perhaps it’s an alien 🙂
