With the temperatures well over 30°C (around 90°F) in England it’s a little hot for modelling. However, some progress has been made on the ‘Pug Conversion’ and there’s now a cab. Essentially it’s a box made from four pieces of 1mm (40 thou) Evergreen plastic card.
The fiddly stages were cutting the openings in the sides of the cab and ensuring the cab windows were in the right place. I made a couple of card templates to help, one with the shape of the openings, the other marking the centres of the holes for the windows.
After that it was just a question of cutting and drilling in the right places, then sticking everything together 🙂
