After a week cooped up at home I couldn’t resist the opportunity to get out and see some trains running.
The club house is very large (an old builders yard or workshops I suspect), there were lots of layouts running, and a very well stocked second hand stall.
I watched the trains, brought some things, and enjoyed a very tasty snack (cup of tea, bacon roll and homemade coffee cake 🙂 ).
It was nice to get out, talk to some modellers and get some inspiration.
Here are some snaps and there are more photos of the clubs layouts here.
Part of the club house, there’s more to the right…This Austrian HOe layout has lots of potential.Nice fiddle yard at the back giving lots of operatinal possibilities too.The second hand stall in full swing.I brought a coal office and some coal sacks. These may be modified for Boxomise.I brought this too. Yes this is standard gauge… but I couldn’t resist. It’s a nice autocoach, not very detailed, but I like the late 1950s BR livery. It dwarfs one on my 009 coaches! The handrails were in the box. I can have fun fitting those later.
Steve, I want to wish you a very Happy New Year. May peace and joy be abundant. Also, looking forward to your next micro layout. Keep up the great work, and Thanks, Steven
Hi Steven, Thank you so much. I hope you have a wonderful New Year too.
The micro is progressing, I’m laying track at the moment, hopefully complete that this week.
All the best
Steve
