Continuing work on my conversion of the 422 Model Making Workman’s Coach.

I’ve created a fake chassis frame from some H section plastic and detailed it with some plasticard strips that were embossed to represent rivet heads.

The kit comes with some rather nice lamp pots. I drew two diagonal lines on the underside of the roof and drilled a small hole where they intersected.

This allowed me to position the lamp pot in the centre of the roof.

Finally, I added a brass door handle to create the model you see at the top of the blog.
