It’s December and it’s dark. How about something to remind us of sunnier times….

Photographed in May of this year, this is the old blacksmiths forge in the small village of Thriplow, England.

It’s a lovely, simple stone building and is very ‘modelable’.

The building hasn’t changed since the 1930’s. You could easily include it on a layout set any time from pre-grouping to the present day….
