Over a year ago I used some chequer plate plasticard to make inserts for the points (switches) on Thomas and Sons.

After all this time, I have painted the plasticard pieces and fixed them in the points.

It’s not rocket science but it is a nice finishing touch. They cover the sleepers and make the points look like industrial trackwork embedded in the factory yard.
