The Covid-19 lockdown in the UK has been lifted slightly, and we ventured out for the first time in 8 weeks.
A trip to Hunstanton, a long walk on the beach and a picnic on the cliff top succeeded in blowing the cobwebs away and making the whole family feel a lot better.
There were no railway related plans but by chance we found a small ‘memorial’ to the Lynn and Hunstanton Railway located on the former site of Hunstanton station.
Sadly, the line to Hunstanton no longer exists and the ‘memorial’ is located in… wait for it…. a car park !
