The roof of the second building for Thomas and Sons has been completed.
In some ways this should have been the easiest roof to made. It is the smallest and each section is a simple rectangular shape, in contrast to the first building were each roof section was a different size and shape.
However, this roof wasn’t that straightforward. I glued one of the sections in the wrong place and it protruded about 3mm (0.1 inch) too far forward. It looked wrong and had to be removed. Although I noticed it quickly, I had used ‘hot glue’ to stick it in place and the glue had set solid. Prising off the cardboard roof damaged it, and I had to remake the right hand section !
Looks good to me, can you not live with it?
cheers

Hi Pete
Thanks, I’m glad you like it. This is the repaired version, and I will definitely live with it. Biggest roof still to do. Fingers crossed 🙂
