Regular readers (there are a few π ) may have noticed that I am doing more and more work on Thomas and Sons. I hope to take it to the N&SNGM Running Day next Saturday and I’d like it to be a little more than a bare baseboard !
The organiser, Richard Doe, asked me to bring ‘First’ and I happily agreed. Then he sent an email asking whether anyone had a layout in a larger scale. I suggested showing Thomas and Sons as a ‘work in progress’ and the N&SNGM team accepted. Hopefully, it will be more than just a baseboard, but it certainly wont be a finished layout !
The finished layouts that are appearing include:
“Chappel Mills” – 009 – Chris Seago
“Priory Waterworks” – 009 – Chris Seago
“Chapel Yard” – 009 – Jim Bamber
“Hawkins Tower” – 009 – Phillip Moore
“Modules” – 009 – Stuart Hughes
“First” – 009 – Stephen Clulow
“Thurtey” – 009 – Richard Doe
“Longstone Maintenance Works” – Gn15 – Graham Watling
The N&SNG Running Days are always very relaxed and enjoyable, and they are a good opportunity to chat about model railways. More details on their website: http://nsngm.org.uk/
Perhaps I’ll see you there?
Sounds exciting, make sure you take plenty of pictures if you get 5 minutes away from your layout π
