Despite the recent heatwave, I made a start on the scenery for my little SM32 layout, Springwell.
Working at 36C (97F) was a new experience, it’s not normally that hot in England, but at least the glue dried quickly! π

I quickly discovered that trying to scenic the whole layout in one session wasn’t practical.
Instead, I divided it into four sections, applying the scatter and flock to one section at a time, waiting for the glue to dry before moving on to the next.
I followed the same approach with the static grass, so it took four separate sessions to complete that too.
It was much more manageable that way (for me, at least!), although, despite the heat, I did spend quite a bit of time waiting for glue to dry.
There’s still plenty more to do, but it’s a good start.
Next job… some shrubbery! π
Wow, that looks so good.
