Narrow Gauge North 2025

Yesterday was Narrow Gauge North 2025, a cracking exhibition with over 20 layouts and 15 traders.

Here are some pics of just some of the layouts. Click on an image for a larger picture.

I really enjoyed looking at the layouts and there were lots of opportunities to talk to interesting people. It was particularly nice to catch up with David, Matt, Andy and Paul (of Paul’s Fantastic Workbench).

Yes, I did spend some money. Lots of odds and ends really.

Purchases from a model railway exhibition.

The A1 models ‘Diesel Loco Bonnetts’ look interesting. I hadn’t seen them before and there’s scratch building potential here.

The soldering iron claims to be a 30W iron that heats up to 130W when you pull the trigger. I’m sceptical about that 130W figure, but it will be fun to try it.

The die cast car was a bargain from the 009 Society sales stand. It is beautiful but it will probably be cut up with a hacksaw 🙂

Many thanks to all the exhibitors, traders, caterers and organisers for a great day out.

  1. Nice to see you on Saturday, and thanks for the link. It looks like you came home with a good haul, A1 Models do make some useful parts for us modellers.
