O9 Diesel Loco Build

Sometime ago I brought a nice 3D printed loco body from Pankott Models.

It has been ‘maturing’ in a drawer for a few months.

These’s no point stashing away nice models like this, they need to be built.

As I write this, Pankott Models don’t have this loco for sale. This is a pity because it has loads of character and the quality of the 3D printing is excellent. I hope it will return.

I rarely use black primer. Here I wanted the chassis and footplate to be black so it seemed the easiest option. I hope it’s not too difficult to cover the loco body with a green colour.

The driver looks a bit pale. He’ll need some colour in his cheeks before he can enter service.

So the loco and driver will be sent to the paint shop.

I hope the paint shop posse haven’t skived off early for Christmas!

  1. Looking very interestIng Steve. I like the butchered tank wagon improvisation!

Where did you get the driver from? I have, for reasons I do not really understand, ventured into O9 and need a driver and probably a check on my sanity!

    Woody.
