My little HOf micro layout, Bahnchen, is featured in this months 009 News.
This little loco got a mention in the article but a photo of it wasn’t included. I thought it would be nice to add one here.
It’s and Egger-Bahn loco body converted to run on a Z gauge Rokuhan chassis. Special thanks to John Thorne of the 009 Society sales team for finding the loco body for me.
Bahnchen was an unexpected diversion into 6.5mm gauge. It was great fun to make and I still enjoy watching the little trains run round and round 🙂

Hi Woody, Thank you! I found 6.5mm gauge rather fiddly for my big fingers, but seeing the layout in print has made me wonder if there’s more mileage in it…. Hmmm….
