I’ve been working on my new 009 layout for 11 months now. Gasp!

There are people who can build a whole layout in a few weeks. That’s not my style.

For me modelling is about pottering and enjoying the process.

Here’s where my pottering has got me:

It looks rather bare doesn’t it !

However the baseboards, track, electrics and buildings are complete so I can start on the scenery – hopefully that will fill up the empty space.

This is the left hand side of the layout with the goods yard.

Here’s the right hand end with the station building and platform.

There’s a lot more ‘interest’ on the left hand side of the layout so I’ll have to find a way of balancing this up by adding more to the right hand side.

I’m not sure how to do this… all ideas welcome !
