Boxomise: To Wills, or not to Wills ?

The Wills range of kits have been around since the late 1970’s.

They have been widely used and some modellers regard them as a bit of a cliche.

I rather like them. Nice crisp mouldings, easy to build and they capture the essence of many, once common, railway scenes. Perhaps because the late Iain Rice was involved in designing them.

I have ‘ummed and ahed’ about what type of station building to use on Boxomise. To Wills, or not to Wills ?

In the end I decided to Wills. I plumped for the Station Platform Shelter (SS60) as it captures the spirit of a simple country station building rather well.

Here are some snaps of the build. Click on a photo for a larger image.
