It’s been a rainy weekend.

I’ve found myself draw to my little industrial layout Thomas and Sons.

I couldn’t resist adding some more things to it.

‘What? That layout’s supposed to be completed!’ I hear you cry.

Yes, I know, but a layout’s never really completed is it 🙂

The long wall at the rear of the layout looked too bare. I’ve added three anchor plates to the wall with some ‘rain streaks’ created using weathering powders.

One thing led to another and I ended up adding some moss, weeds and plants to the bases of the buildings and between the cobbles in the yard.

It’s been a lot of fun and it’s added some useful detail to the layout.

All thanks to a rainy weekend….
