In 2019 I spotted this rather nice hedge trimmer at the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway.
Something like this would make a great addition to the permanent way department of any preserved standard gauge, narrow gauge or miniature railway
Perhaps the most difficult part would be to model the hydraulic arm. However, ambitious model engineers would probably motorise that too 🙂

Model It? Sometimes I see things that inspire me, things I think would make a great model. I thought I would share photos of what I find interesting and perhaps, just perhaps, they might inspire your modelling…
Note the Ruston buffer/coupler blocks (available from Shapeways in 4 and 7mm scales) and the rail along the sides, extra weight perhaps?
