Boiler Back Plate

I’ve been working on some details for the modified 3D printed loco.

This is based on this photo of ‘Fox’, with a little artistic licence to ensure it fits into the cab.

Obviously, it’s much taller and deeper than a real boiler back plate but it needs to cover the motor and fly wheel of the Minitrains chassis.

Only 23mm high (under 1 inch), it was made from scrap pieces of styrene from my ‘bits box’ – very enjoyable.
