The rails on Thomas and Sons have been painted a rusty brown. Nothing fancy, just Humbrol 62.
It looks very brown. Fortunately most of it will be invisible below the clay ‘setts’.
I managed to get brown paint on the back scene. Humph!

Sorry Steve, but to my eyes it looks a little to bright, rails are usually a much darker shade of rust.

Yes possibly, but there will be lots of dirty washed over the setts so hopefully it will all work out. Fingers crossed.
