To hide the access to the fiddle yard on Thomas and Sons I decided to add an entrance gate in the narrow gap between two buildings. LCut make a warehouse gate wall panel. I cut this to the appropriate size and I added some gates made of card (also from LCut). I still need to glue the gates at the correct angle, they are held in place with blu-tack in the photo!

The offcuts were not wasted. I created short wall sections from them. These will be used to fill the gaps between the buildings and the ‘picture frame’ at the front of the layout.
