Here are some videos of the Autumn Industrial Trains Day at Amberley Museum.
I thought I’d post them because the sounds are great !
First, a Fielding and Platt oil engine, built around 1920, that runs on paraffin.
Such a characteristic engine note.
However, the video didn’t capture the lovely smell of paraffin π
Hudson Hunslet HE3097 made in 1944 for the Borough of Merton Sewage Works, London.
This little loco has a lovely ‘Phut, Phut’ sound.
Motor Rail Simplex MR5863 from 1934 used in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
I like the way the sound is dominated by the clanking of the skips.
Better add that to your DCC project files !
