Don’t Sweat The Mistakes

Continuing with the idea of converting O-16.5 narrow gauge wagons into O9 narrow gauge wagons, I’ve created a large O9 bogie wagon.

I made a few mistakes when I was making this model. Sometimes modellers give up if this happens.

My advice would be: dont give up. Mistakes can be fixed or hidden. This model is a good example of that!

  1. That is a mighty fine looking wagon Steve. The. art of mistakes is that you make them invisible which you have done superbly on this cut and shut project. Talking of cut and shuts and mistakes there was a guy back in the 70s who thought he could make a bit of money on a cut and shut project with two cars of roughly the right shape. Welded the front end of a Beatle to the rear end of a moggy minor. Lovely fit and great weld job….. Just one mistake!
