Although my latest 009 layout is designed to fit in a box I’d really like it to be set up at home so I can operate it easily at a moments notice.

The solution: a shelf next to my ‘modelling bureau‘.

I’m really pleased with this. The layout is accessible and at just the right height for me to use it comfortably.

The plan is to develop an operating timetable. One where all the stock ends up at the starting point so you can run the whole cycle again.

We will see how long that takes me to do !
