To create the carton load for the flat wagon I glued the two stacks of cartons together.

There were some small gaps between the two pieces and I filled these with model filler.

Next, a quick sand, a coat of primer, a coat of light brown paint and a wash of diluted black to highlight the lines between the cartons.

I will let the paint dry, varnish it, then I can add it to the wagon.
